Aber in Kurzform nochmal: die Adler waren pleite und würden ohne Hopp evtl. 2.Liga spielen, ABER: Mannheim war und ist ein Eishockey-Tempel. 6.000 Dauerkarteninhaber. Denke, dass da auch ohne Hopp Kohle da wäre für eine halbwegs schlagkräftige truppe, also vielleicht nicht gerade letztes Drittel.

Ich weis nicht, vom Papier her hätten wir keine Chance gehabt.
Ob man den Haien helfen will, in den Pre Po zu gelangen, denn die Haie ziehen immer noch die Zuschauer in Massen an.

Und -ehrlich- ich gönne es euch. Köln ist ins Spiel rein, nach dem Motto volle Hütte, it's show-time, wir haben nichts zu verlieren. Und die Afler dachten von vornherein sie wären der Sieger. Und das wird dann eben bestraft, das ist das schöne am Sport.
